Recap of the June 21, 2008 General Membership Meeting

Greetings Wilson Lakes Neighbors,

If you were at the recent meeting/picnic, thanks for your support and participation. For those of you who missed it, here is a brief recap of the day and a copy of your membership form that you may use to update you record and transmit your dues.

The Fishing Tournament was held from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. This year’s winners are Kris and Tyler Ayres in the adult category and Robbie Donaghy in the youth category.

During the picnic and prior to the general meeting of membership we were audience to 4 of this year’s candidates for the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners; Don Kruse, Denise Layne, Kevin Beckner and Tom Aderhold. We thank them for their time and information and especially thank candidate Tom Aderhold for his volunteering to include this newsletter and membership info in with his campaign literature. This is NOT an endorsement of his campaign. His assistance to us at this time is getting our information out and saving your association postage.

The general membership meeting included reports from Michael Hunt: Treasurer’s report, Richard Joudrey: Mellaluca Abatement Task Force Committee update, Mike Coffey: Lake Watch report, Cheryl Ayres: Bylaws updates. Those reports and updates are available at the Wilson Lakes Neighborhood Association web site.

The membership voted and approved 10 board members to serve for the 2008-2009 year. They are Tom Mead, Richard Joudrey, Karen Hunt, Michael Hunt, Richard Champagne, Cheryl Ayres, John Cushing, Bob Briesacher, Bob Donaghy and Artie.
